Nancy Jane ROCKWELL

WEBSTER, MRS. NANCY M.
Died at the home of Fred Webster in Rutland, Pa., on Wednesday, January 11th, 1905, aged 77 years.  She was the wife of Joel Webster, who died a few years ago.  They lived a long time on a farm near Job’s Corners, Pa.  She was a daughter of Elder Rockwell, a Baptist preacher, well and favorably known for years in this vicinity.  She leaves to mourn their loss five sons, Orlando, Myron, Burt and Fred, of Rutland, Pa., Horace Webster, D. M., of Harrison Valley, Pa., one sister, Mrs. Mark Lefler, of Rutland, Pa., one brother, Oscar Rockwell of Monroeton, Pa., a number of grandchildren, who through love, was very much attached to her.  She was a woman who had the respect of all who knew her.  She was a member of the Baptist church and was by her exemplary life an honor to her church.  We can truthfully say that she possessed all the qualities needed to make her a good and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and neighbor.  The funeral services were held at the Roseville Baptist church on Saturday, January 14th, 1905, Rev. Brainerd, of Pine City, officiated, burial in Roseville cemetery.
